However, when examining these states\u2019 realities, it becomes evident that they are artificial geopolitical entities that have risen in the 19<sup>th<\/sup> and 20<sup>th<\/sup> centuries, driven only by Western colonial empires\u2019 geopolitical, economic, and strategic interests.
