These incidents include the burning of a Christmas tree in the city of Sqeilbiyah in rural Hama, attacks on churches, and restrictions on their celebrations and religious rituals in several regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative was launched by the center\u2019s administration, led by its president, Dr. Mohammad Walid Youssef, at this particular time in response to the recent events in Syria.
