It is grounded in the hypothesis that the backwardness of the Islamic world was not the result of a single factor, but rather the outcome of a prolonged imbalance in the relationship between military spending, domestic production, and state-building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study demonstrates that states rise when military expenditure is transformed into a driver of industry and economic growth, and decline when it becomes a financial burden that drains resources and deepens external dependency.
